Principal Steffenie Horelica leads the Sharks at Slawinski Elementary School. She has 17 years of experience in education, all dedicated to serving students, staff, and families. Ms. Horelica has served as a paraprofessional, classroom teacher, reading facilitator at both the elementary and secondary levels, and campus administrator throughout her career. As a proud product of Lamar CISD, she is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and fostering a positive, supportive environment where every student can thrive. Ms. Horelica is committed to building strong relationships, supporting continuous growth for staff, and ensuring all students have access to high-quality instruction as she establishes a foundation of excellence as the founding principal of Slawinski Elementary.
